Dominica is rightly known as the Caribbean’s "Nature Island". Dominica is rated as one of the top dive spots in the world. Dominica also has a deserved reputation as the best place to see whales and dolphins in the Caribbean.

Champagne/Hot Spring
This sub-aquatic hot spring is in about 15 feet of water and spews out hot water and bubbles, which gives the effect of diving in glass of champagne. This is a common place to see schools of squid and huge stoplight parrotfish. It’s an excellent night dive!

Point Guignard
A gradually sloping area rich with small creatures like seahorses, nudibranches and sea slugs. Definite point of interests would be the wave-cut caverns where divers swim through.

Dangleben’s North
This reef was formed by a granite extrusion from the shoreline and starts off shallow, then gets deeper as it runs out west. The main ridge is interwoven with pinnacles and valleys where turtles are normally seen.

Coral Gardens
Coral Gardens is the reef that connects Dangleben’s North and Dangleben’s Pinnacles. This dive is known as a nursery for the marine reserve. Hawbill turltles are regularly seen here. Along with a garden of soft and hard corals.

Dangleben’s Pinnacles
A series of pinnacles ranging in depths from 40 to 80 feet, extensively coved in coral and sponges, both hard and soft. In the winter months, the southernmost pinnacle becomes a feeding frenzy of barjacks, horse-eye jacks, crevalle jacks, cero and the occasional barracuda busily hunting schools of baitfish. All this is back-dropped by waterfalls of mating blue creole wrasse.

L’abym (pronounced "La Bim")
A creole word meaning "The Deep"is one of the area’s most vertical wall sites. Running about 2 miles, you can see lots of black coral trees, deep-sea gorgians, and other extensive life forms cling to the wall. Due to the deeper water, there is a possibility of encountering tuna, jacks, rays and turtles.

La Sorciere
A continuation of L’abym wall where the wall curves in shore right on the boarder of the shoreline. This site sits directly off an isolated cliff and drops an average of 20 feet, but as deep as 1600 feet in some areas.

Soufriere Pinnacle
A perfect second dive. Here, three separate pinnacles rise from a shelf resting in 35 feet, with the tallest coming to within a few feet of the surface.

Scotts Head Drop-Off
This wall is spectacular at any depth, from 40 to 100 feet. It is an incredibly colorful dive with pink and azure vase sponges, orange icing sponges, yellow tube sponges, and green rope sponges. The many small nooks and crannies hide lobster, crabs, and many different kinds of cleaner shrimp.

Scotts Head Pinnacle
Justifiably one of the island's most famous dive sites. This arch, located at about 40 feet, formed by two massive granite boulders leaning against one another. It is home to an abundance of soliderfish, schools of grunts, baby Baracuda and tiny bait fish.

Cashacrou (Crater’s Edge)
Cashacrou sits on the westernmost diveable edge of the Soufriere carter, northwest of Scotts Head. It is not uncommon to be followed by one or two giant barracuda escorting you from the area.

Condo
Condo is also located on the Atlantic side and is a huge chunk of rock, sitting in 60 feet of water on a sandy, sloping bottom. Swim-throughs, overhangs and recesses are unique features of the Condo. Sting rays are commonly seen swimming here.
